The Conference Venue in Muldersdrift

Choosing the right conference venue from the variety available in South Africa can be a difficult.

Making the right decision has a lot to do with the location, amenities, facilities, ambiance and service offerings available. Ekudeni is one such place. Situated along the “wedding mile” in Muldersdrift, Ekudeni has become well known for its recession beating conference venue offering.

Ekudeni is ideally located. By being equidistant from both Pretoria and Johannesburg, it makes it easily accessible for conference guests to frequent from both major South African cities – in an average of 30 minutes drive.

Ekudeni is also only a few minutes’ drive away from the Lanseria Airport. This makes it ideal for any conference delegates or speakers who need to fly in from any of the major cities to attend the conference.

Muldersdrift is also close enough for guests and delegates to feel that they are in the countryside, but convenient enough to keep costs within budget and save on petrol expenses as well as time.

Venue Amenities and Facilities

As a purpose built conference venue Ekudeni is more than able to accommodate your delegates’ requirements, in comfort and style.

Six venues on the premises are currently available able to seat between 6 and 700 delegate at a time.

The seating plan for each venue can be altered to accommodate the client’s needs. Specialised multimedia and sound equipment is available for hire on special request.

Ekudeni’s management team are available to assist in all the planning and execution of your conference.

Accommodation

Onsite accommodation is in the form of 28 bedrooms in a variety of styles and sizes to suit your company’s individual requirements. Additional accommodation is available at five closely located venues. All rooms are equipped with coffee/tea facilities and television.

Current Conference Specials

Ekudeni is currently offering a number of specials on conference packages in 2010.

For half day conferences, two tea breaks are included and traditional Ekudeni buffet lunch is available on request.

Day conferences consist of three tea breaks and our traditional buffet lunch.

Pre or Post Conference Activities

Pre or post conference team building events can be arranged to further facilitate company strategies, planning and communication, to discuss the outcomes of the conference event in a neutral environment and to build on the momentum created in the actual conference session. Also to work through any problem areas discovered in the previous conference or to lay out goals for the future event.

Also as a post conference event, fun team building activities are a fun way to wind down after an intense conference or work training session and offer staff some initiative in getting through any intensive conference training or discussion forums.

Ekudeni is able to offer different areas within the property for the various team building events to be held. Our own “in-house” team building company is able to tailor make a unique team building package to suit your company’s individual requirements.

Some of the activities include quad biking and raft building and giant foosball.
