Eating, drinking and dressing like a local

Food and drink is all local enhancing the familiarity with the times. The house specialty beer is served in Quart bottles giving you and your guests the chance to drink in the true style of a shebeen. Truly South African foods like the famous Bunny Chow are presented on enamel plates and are to be enjoyed with the hands- like it’s really done. Don’t worry, there are lots of serviettes!

The Zonki Shebeen is also the perfect location and themed venue for a Christmas party, work function, or any other occasion that you would like to add some true South African flavor to.
